Competency& is an independent Polish advisory firm specializing in promoting and supporting innovative technology companies and startups. In these changing times when green technologies are taking the lead, we especially support companies offering modern zero-emission technologies, through advisory services, active participation in their development and international expansion. We work with Polish companies and international companies in Poland and other CEE countries.

Whether we are referring to climate change or the rapid increase of energy costs, Competency& is playing an active role in promoting a number of green technologies that will bring us closer to a NetZero goal. Accomplished at introducing companies and new products into the marketplace. Developed business ventures from startup phase thru contract negotiations, personnel hiring – accomplished revenues over $10 million during the first year of operations.

Experienced in cooperation with international companies for polish and other technology firms. Introduced new products and found strategic partners/resellers and was responsible for negotiations and finalizing contract discussions with international companies.

That’s why now in particular Competency& is focused on assisting its clients in minimizing their exposure as well as reducing operational costs by finding areas where a company is wasting energy.

Thus, by saving energy Competency& is helping companies find avoidable energy waste which is by far the cheapest way to meet energy goals.

We focus on:

  • Effective Energy Consumption: with much higher prices for electricity and gas prices since the beginning of 2022, Competency& has been focused in providing technology hardware and software that can not only monitor precisely the usage of a company’s energy bill but also institute equipment and IoT software that can track and reduce Wasteful Energy usage on average by over 20%
  • Electromobility: the electric car is here to stay and it’s prevalence is only going to rise in the decades to come. Competency& works with one of the leaders in providing electric car charging stations that now are able to charge fully a car in less than 10 minutes. Our role is to strategically develop their business in CEE and Scandinavia.
  • Renewable energy: replacing fossil fuel-based generation by electrifying municipal and industrial processes with renewable energy accelerates decarbonization and unlocks valuable savings. Competency& is proactively working to promote technologies to better utilize geothermal, solar energy and thermal energy storage.

We specialize in introducing investors to SME owners who have yet to make succession plans.
